Vape Kit Types
KangerTech vape pods are designed for use with a small range of pod devices, including models like the Slibox, Tri Box and earlier Supo-style kits. Most are refillable and use built-in coils, keeping everything contained within the pod itself.
Active filters
KangerTech pods act as both the tank and coil housing in one unit. They hold the e-liquid and include the heating element, so when performance drops, the pod is replaced rather than taken apart.
Most pods follow the standard 2ml capacity used in the UK, with a simple refill port sealed by a silicone plug. It’s a small detail, but if that seal isn’t closed properly, you’ll usually notice it straight away.
KangerTech pods are tied closely to specific devices, rather than being part of a wider interchangeable system.
Some of the more common ones include:
Even within the same brand, there isn't much crossover. A pod from one device won't typically fit another, even if it looks similar at first glance.
Most KangerTech pods come with a fixed coil already inside. You don’t change the coil separately, the whole pod is swapped when it’s finished.
Resistance options tend to sit in a fairly narrow range:
For example, some pods are available in 0.9Ω and 1.2Ω versions, while others use a single resistance depending on the device.
Mesh-style coils are also used in certain models, which helps keep the heating more even across the coil surface.
Most KangerTech pod systems are draw-activated and run at a fixed output, so there’s very little to adjust.
Pods are usually:
Some devices allow minor airflow changes or switching between tighter and more open draws, though it's not always adjustable in a precise way.
These pods are generally set up for thinner e-liquids, particularly 50/50 blends and nicotine salts. That’s what they tend to wick most reliably.
Lower resistance options can handle slightly thicker liquid, but they’re not really built for high VG in the same way larger tanks are. You’ll usually notice if it’s not keeping up.
There isn’t a fixed lifespan, but most pods will get through somewhere around 10–20ml of e-liquid before needing to be replaced. That usually works out at around a week or two with regular use.
It tends to change gradually:
Nothing unusual, just a sign the coil inside is reaching the end of its use.
KangerTech pods are generally chosen for their simplicity. There’s not much to configure, and once you’re using the right pod for your device, it tends to stay consistent.
They’re often used by people who prefer a smaller device that doesn’t need much attention, or by those moving away from older pen-style kits into something more compact.
