What are vape tanks?

Vape tanks are an essential component for vaping with a threaded battery device. Vape tanks work by containing e-liquid (a maximum of 2ml under TPD) and housing a coil for atomising the liquid. Most tanks work by screwing onto a battery with a 510 threaded bolt which is the standard size for vape devices.

Which vape tanks should I use?

To find the best vape tank for you we first recommend you find out whether you prefer to vape using MTL (mouth-to-lung) or DTL (direct-to-lung) vaping styles. The difference between the two means either, a more subtle and tight draw with MTL or a looser draw with denser clouds with DTL.

For MTL users we recommend using the Aspire K3 tank for their reliability and slim design. And for DTL we recommend using the SMOK TF-D Subtank for its great cloud production and premium design.

Top tips for using your vape tank

To keep your tank working optimally and lasting for longer, we recommend regularly disassembling it and cleaning it. Start by draining all e-liquid from the tank and then begin disassembling the tank, use a clean cotton bud and optionally some isopropyl alcohol to clear away any excess e-liquid around the threads and drip tip.

To improve the flavour of your e-liquid we recommend storing it in a cool dry place, away from direct sunlight, this will prevent your liquid from losing flavour and nicotine strength prematurely.
