VOOPOO Replacement Vape Pods

A vape pod is the removable cartridge that holds your e-liquid and connects to the battery section of a pod kit.

Depending on the VOOPOO system you're using, the coil may either be built directly into the cartridge or installed separately.

Our current range includes both formats.

Some cartridges, such as the ARGUS Top Fill and VINCI E ranges, integrate the coil into the pod. When performance drops, the complete cartridge is replaced.

ITO pods work differently. They act as a reusable tank section and accept separate ITO replacement coils.

That distinction matters because two VOOPOO pods can look broadly similar while using completely different internal systems.

Which VOOPOO Pods Do We Stock?

Pod Family Coil Type Typical Use Main Compatibility
ARGUS Top Fill Built-in coil MTL / RDL ARGUS Pod Family
ARGUS Top Fill V2 Built-in coil MTL / RDL ARGUS Pod Family
VINCI E Built-in coil MTL / RDL / DTL depending on resistance VINCI E-compatible devices
ITO Pod Separate replaceable coil MTL / RDL Doric and selected ITO devices
VINCI Pod Built-in coil Mainly MTL VINCI Pod family

The exact resistance options and compatibility differ by cartridge, so always check the individual listing before ordering.

VOOPOO ARGUS Top Fill Pods

The VOOPOO ARGUS Top Fill cartridge is one of the main replacement pod systems used across the ARGUS Pod Family.

These cartridges combine the e-liquid reservoir and heating coil into a single replaceable unit, removing the need to fit a separate coil.

VOOPOO offers the ARGUS Top Fill range in several resistance options, including:

  • 0.4Ω
  • 0.7Ω
  • 1.0Ω

The 0.4Ω version operates at approximately 18–30W, the 0.7Ω at around 14–18W and the 1.0Ω at roughly 10–14W.

That gives the same pod family a useful spread from looser RDL use down to tighter MTL.

ARGUS Top Fill Resistance Guide

Resistance Recommended Power General Draw
0.4Ω 18–30W RDL
0.7Ω 14–18W Loose MTL / RDL
1.0Ω 10–14W MTL

The lower-resistance pod generally produces warmer vapour and greater output, while the 1.0Ω version runs at lower power and provides a more restricted draw.

Resistance is only one part of the picture, though. Airflow settings and device output also affect how each cartridge behaves.

VOOPOO ARGUS Top Fill V2 Pods

The ARGUS Top Fill Cartridge V2 is the updated generation of the ARGUS cartridge platform.

VOOPOO introduced it with upgraded internal materials and its iCOSM CODE 2.0 system, while retaining broad compatibility within the ARGUS Pod Family.

Like the original top-fill cartridge, the coil is built into the pod.

That means:

  • No separate coil installation
  • Quick cartridge replacement
  • Straightforward resistance selection
  • Topside filling
  • One consumable part to manage

Once the internal coil begins to deteriorate, you replace the whole cartridge.

ARGUS Top Fill vs ARGUS Top Fill V2

The original and V2 cartridges share the same overall concept, but the V2 is the newer version.

Feature ARGUS Top Fill ARGUS Top Fill V2
Coil Integrated Integrated
Filling Top-fill Top-fill
Draw Range MTL / RDL MTL / RDL
ARGUS Family Compatibility Yes Yes
Generation Earlier Updated

VOOPOO states that ARGUS Pod Family cartridges have broad compatibility across devices within that family.

Even so, it's sensible to check the specification of your exact device, particularly with newer hardware that may introduce additional cartridge formats.

Which Devices Use ARGUS Pods?

ARGUS cartridges are used across a wide selection of VOOPOO devices.

Depending on the exact cartridge and device generation, compatible hardware can include models from the ARGUS pod family such as:

  • ARGUS G-series devices
  • ARGUS P-series devices
  • ARGUS Z-series devices
  • ARGUS A
  • Selected newer ARGUS pod kits

The key phrase here is ARGUS Pod Family.

Larger ARGUS pod-mod devices that use PnP or PnP X hardware are separate systems and shouldn't be assumed to take these small integrated cartridges.

VOOPOO VINCI E Pods

The VOOPOO VINCI E cartridge is a newer integrated-coil platform used on compatible VINCI devices.

VINCI E cartridges are available in resistance options including:

  • 0.3Ω
  • 0.6Ω

The lower 0.3Ω resistance is aimed towards a more open, higher-output style, while the 0.6Ω cartridge brings the power down and moves towards a more restricted draw.

Some newer VINCI platforms also support additional integrated cartridge resistances depending on the device, so compatibility should be checked against the exact kit being used.

VINCI E Pods vs Separate-Coil VINCI Systems

VOOPOO has used the VINCI name across several different generations.

That can make compatibility look more straightforward than it really is.

A modern VINCI E cartridge has its coil built directly into the pod.

Other VINCI products have used:

  • PnP coils
  • PnP X coils
  • Older integrated VINCI cartridges
  • VINCI V2 cartridges

These are not one universal system.

Just because the word "VINCI" appears on both products doesn't mean the cartridge will fit.

Older VOOPOO VINCI Pods

Our range also includes the earlier VOOPOO VINCI Pod format.

These cartridges were designed for compact VINCI devices such as the VINCI Pod family rather than the larger PnP-based VINCI pod-mod systems.

Compatible devices across this generation can include:

  • VINCI Pod
  • VINCI Q
  • VINCI Pod SE
  • VINCI Pod Royal Edition
  • Drag Nano 2

These are therefore a separate family from the newer VINCI E cartridges.

VOOPOO ITO Pods

The VOOPOO ITO Pod takes a different approach from the integrated-coil ARGUS and VINCI cartridges.

Instead of replacing the whole pod when the coil wears out, the cartridge accepts separate ITO replacement coils.

That means the pod itself can often remain in use while only the internal coil is changed.

VOOPOO offers the ITO coil family in several resistances:

  • 0.5Ω
  • 0.7Ω
  • 1.0Ω
  • 1.2Ω

That gives compatible devices a useful range from looser RDL through to tighter MTL.

Which Devices Use ITO Pods?

ITO pods are compatible with several Doric devices.

Examples include:

  • VOOPOO Doric E
  • VOOPOO Doric Q
  • VOOPOO Doric 20
  • VOOPOO Doric 20 SE

Other ITO-based hardware also exists, so always check the product specification if you're using a different device.

ITO Pod Coil Resistance Guide

ITO Coil General Style
0.5Ω RDL
0.7Ω Loose MTL / RDL
1.0Ω MTL
1.2Ω Tight MTL

The advantage of this system is that the pod and coil are separate.

If the cartridge itself is still in good condition but flavour has dropped off, a new coil may be all you need.

Integrated-Coil vs Replaceable-Coil VOOPOO Pods

This is one of the most useful distinctions to understand.

Pod Type Examples What You Replace
Integrated-Coil Pod ARGUS Top Fill, ARGUS V2, VINCI E Complete pod
Separate-Coil Pod ITO Pod Internal coil

Integrated pods are generally simpler.

There is no coil to remove, align or install.

Separate-coil systems involve a little more maintenance, but they allow the cartridge itself to be reused through multiple coil changes.

Neither approach is automatically better.

They simply prioritise different things.

Which VOOPOO Pod Do I Need?

Start with the exact device name.

Don't choose based on appearance alone.

If You Use an ARGUS Pod Device

Look for a compatible ARGUS Top Fill or ARGUS Top Fill V2 cartridge, depending on the exact device and supported pod range.

If You Use a VINCI E Device

Choose a compatible VINCI E cartridge and then select the appropriate resistance.

If You Use a Doric ITO Device

You'll generally need an ITO pod plus a compatible ITO coil.

If You Use an Older VINCI Pod

Check for the appropriate VINCI integrated cartridge rather than assuming newer VINCI E or PnP X hardware will fit.

Understanding Pod Resistance

Resistance is measured in ohms (Ω).

As a broad guide:

  • Lower resistance usually means more power and a looser draw.
  • Higher resistance usually means less power and a tighter draw.

For example, within the ARGUS range:

Resistance Typical Character
0.4Ω Warmer, looser RDL
0.7Ω Balanced loose MTL / RDL
1.0Ω Tighter MTL

MTL VOOPOO Pods

MTL, or mouth-to-lung, describes drawing vapour into the mouth before inhaling.

Suitable VOOPOO pod options can include:

  • ARGUS 1.0Ω cartridges
  • Higher-resistance ITO coils
  • Selected VINCI pods
  • Other compatible higher-resistance integrated cartridges

These typically operate at lower power and pair naturally with a tighter airflow.

Common characteristics include:

  • Lower wattage
  • Moderate vapour production
  • Tighter draw
  • Lower e-liquid consumption
  • Suitability for 50/50 e-liquid
  • Compatibility with nicotine salts

RDL VOOPOO Pods

RDL, or restricted-direct-lung, provides more airflow than traditional MTL while still remaining noticeably tighter than a full DTL sub-ohm tank.

Within VOOPOO's current pod ecosystem, examples include:

  • ARGUS 0.4Ω
  • ARGUS 0.7Ω
  • ITO 0.5Ω and 0.7Ω
  • Lower-resistance VINCI E options

These generally operate at higher power than the tightest MTL cartridges.

You can expect:

  • Warmer vapour
  • More airflow
  • Greater vapour production
  • Slightly higher battery use
  • Faster e-liquid consumption

What E-Liquid Should You Use in VOOPOO Pods?

Most smaller VOOPOO pod systems are designed around MTL and RDL rather than very high-powered sub-ohm use.

For many cartridges, 50/50 e-liquid is a sensible choice.

Typical options include:

  • Nicotine salt e-liquid
  • 50VG/50PG freebase liquids
  • Standard 10ml e-liquid

Lower-resistance cartridges operating at greater power may also handle somewhat thicker liquids depending on the exact pod.

Which VOOPOO Pods Are Best for Nic Salts?

Higher-resistance, lower-powered pods are generally the natural choice.

Options such as the ARGUS 1.0Ω cartridge and higher-resistance ITO coils are particularly well suited to MTL use with 50/50 nicotine salt e-liquid.

The 0.7Ω ARGUS pod can also work well if you prefer a slightly looser draw.

Very low-resistance cartridges operate at greater power, so nicotine strength should be considered more carefully as power increases.

Top-Fill VOOPOO Pods

Top filling is now used across several VOOPOO cartridge families.

Rather than removing a plug from the base of the pod, the filling port can be accessed from the upper section of the cartridge.

Benefits can include:

  • Less handling during refilling
  • Easier access to the fill port
  • Less need to remove the cartridge
  • Reduced chance of disturbing the pod connection

Both the ARGUS Top Fill and ARGUS Top Fill V2 ranges use this approach.

How to Refill a VOOPOO Pod

The exact method varies between cartridges.

For a top-fill pod:

  1. Locate the filling section near the top of the cartridge.
  2. Open the fill port.
  3. Insert the bottle nozzle carefully.
  4. Fill slowly.
  5. Avoid putting e-liquid into the central airflow path.
  6. Close the filling section securely.

For side-fill cartridges, remove or expose the filling plug and follow the same basic principle.

Never force a seal or cap that appears stuck.

Priming a New VOOPOO Pod

A fresh integrated pod contains dry wicking material.

Before using it:

  • Fill the cartridge.
  • Make sure the wick has access to e-liquid.
  • Leave it standing for several minutes.
  • Begin at an appropriate power level if the device allows manual adjustment.

This gives the wick time to absorb liquid before the heating element becomes hot.

Skipping this step can damage a new cartridge almost immediately.

Priming an ITO Coil

ITO pods use separate coils, so the process is slightly different.

  1. Fit the correct ITO coil into the cartridge.
  2. Fill the pod.
  3. Allow the wick several minutes to saturate.
  4. Reinstall the cartridge.
  5. Use the appropriate power level for that coil.

If the pod has been empty for some time, make sure the fresh coil is completely wet before firing.

How Long Do VOOPOO Pods Last?

There isn't one fixed lifespan.

An integrated pod lasts until its internal coil deteriorates or the cartridge itself becomes damaged.

A separate-coil ITO pod can potentially remain in use for considerably longer because only the coil needs routine replacement.

Actual coil life varies with:

  • Frequency of use
  • Wattage
  • E-liquid composition
  • Sweetener content
  • Draw length
  • Resistance
  • Wicking
  • Priming
  • E-liquid level

Newer cartridge technologies may be designed to improve coil longevity, but real-world lifespan still depends heavily on how the pod is used.

When Should You Replace a VOOPOO Pod?

For an integrated cartridge, common signs include:

  • Persistent burnt flavour
  • Noticeably weaker flavour
  • Reduced vapour production
  • Excessive gurgling
  • Repeated flooding
  • Physical cracking
  • Damaged seals
  • Poor connection with the device

If you're using an ITO pod, these symptoms may indicate that the coil needs replacing rather than the complete cartridge.

Why Does My VOOPOO Pod Taste Burnt?

A burnt taste usually means the wick has become too dry or has already scorched.

Possible causes include:

  • Not allowing a new pod to soak
  • Running the cartridge nearly empty
  • Using excessive power
  • Taking repeated draws too quickly
  • Using an unsuitable e-liquid
  • Continuing to use an old coil

Once the wick has genuinely burnt, adding more e-liquid normally won't repair it.

Replace the cartridge or coil.

Why Is My VOOPOO Pod Gurgling?

Gurgling usually indicates excess liquid around the coil or inside the airflow channel.

This can happen because of:

  • Overfilling
  • Flooding
  • Very low power
  • Condensation
  • An ageing coil
  • Liquid accidentally entering the central airflow opening

If the issue keeps returning alongside weak vapour or poor flavour, the coil may be nearing the end of its usable life.

Why Is My VOOPOO Pod Leaking?

A small amount of condensation beneath a pod is normal.

A large amount of e-liquid isn't.

Check for:

  • A damaged cartridge
  • Loose filling seals
  • Overfilling
  • Incorrect coil installation on ITO pods
  • Cracks in the plastic
  • Flooded coils
  • E-liquid inside the airflow channel

Newer ARGUS V2 cartridges include updated measures designed to reduce leaking, but no refillable cartridge should be treated as completely immune to liquid or condensation.

How to Make VOOPOO Pods Last Longer

Good maintenance is fairly simple:

  • Prime every fresh pod or coil.
  • Keep sufficient e-liquid in the cartridge.
  • Use a suitable liquid ratio.
  • Avoid excessive repeated draws.
  • Keep pod contacts clean.
  • Close filling ports properly.
  • Stay within recommended power levels.
  • Replace cracked or damaged cartridges.

The aim isn't to make a consumable last forever.

It's to avoid damaging it unnecessarily early.

ARGUS vs VINCI vs ITO Pods

These names refer to different VOOPOO product ecosystems.

Platform Main Format Typical Devices
ARGUS Pod Family Integrated cartridge Compact ARGUS pod kits
VINCI Integrated or platform-specific cartridges VINCI pod devices
ITO Replaceable-coil pod Doric and ITO systems

There is some compatibility within each family, but very little reason to assume compatibility across them.

An ARGUS cartridge isn't an ITO pod, and a VINCI E pod isn't simply another version of an ARGUS cartridge.

Are All VOOPOO Pods Compatible?

No.

VOOPOO has produced a large range of cartridges over several generations.

The brand currently uses or has used systems including:

  • ARGUS Top Fill
  • ARGUS Top Fill V2
  • ARGUS Multi-Ohm
  • VINCI E
  • VINCI V2
  • ITO
  • PnP
  • PnP X
  • VMATE

These are not one universal pod system.

Always match:

  1. Exact device
  2. Pod family
  3. Cartridge generation
  4. Resistance
  5. Recommended power

VOOPOO Vape Pod FAQs

Which VOOPOO pod do I need?

Check the exact name of your device first, then match it to the cartridge platform specified by VOOPOO.

Are ARGUS Top Fill and ARGUS Top Fill V2 pods compatible with the same devices?

VOOPOO lists broad compatibility across the ARGUS Pod Family, although exact support should still be checked against the individual device.

Do ARGUS pods contain the coil?

Yes. ARGUS Top Fill and Top Fill V2 cartridges have built-in coils, so the complete pod is replaced when the coil wears out.

Which ARGUS pod is best for MTL?

The 1.0Ω cartridge is the most clearly MTL-focused option among the common 0.4Ω, 0.7Ω and 1.0Ω versions.

Which ARGUS pod is best for RDL?

The 0.4Ω cartridge is the more open option and operates at approximately 18–30W, while 0.7Ω provides a middle ground.

Do ITO pods have a built-in coil?

No. ITO pods accept separate replaceable ITO coils.

Which devices use ITO pods?

Compatible models include the Doric E, Doric Q, Doric 20 and Doric 20 SE.

Are VINCI E pods the same as older VINCI pods?

No. VINCI E is a newer integrated cartridge platform and shouldn't be assumed to fit older VINCI Pod hardware.

Can I use an ARGUS pod in a VINCI device?

Not unless VOOPOO explicitly lists that specific device and cartridge as compatible. ARGUS and VINCI are separate product families.

Are VOOPOO pods suitable for nic salts?

Many higher-resistance VOOPOO pod cartridges are well suited to lower-powered MTL use with 50/50 nicotine salt e-liquid.

How often should I replace a VOOPOO pod?

There is no fixed schedule. Replace an integrated cartridge when flavour or vapour noticeably deteriorates, or sooner if the pod becomes physically damaged.

Shop VOOPOO Vape Pods

Our VOOPOO vape pod range covers several of the manufacturer's main cartridge systems, from convenient integrated ARGUS Top Fill and ARGUS Top Fill V2 pods to newer VINCI E cartridges and reusable ITO pods with separate replacement coils.

That variety gives you plenty of choice, but it also makes compatibility particularly important.

Start with the exact device you're using, identify the cartridge family it accepts and only then choose the resistance.

Get those details right and replacing the pod is a straightforward way to keep a compatible VOOPOO device working as intended.
