Frequently Asked Questions

When should I change my coil?

If it's started to taste 'burnt' or feels clogged/tight when you vape, then it's time to change your coil. We also recommend changing your coil whenever you fill you tank/pod etc with a different flavour, as even after emptying the tank the previous flavour will still be soaked into the wicking of your coil.

How long should my coil last?

The length of time a coil lasts varies greatly from one person to another, and depends on a wide range of factors. As a rough guide, you can reasonably expect most types of coil to last for 20-30ml worth of e-liquid (2-3 x 10ml bottles).

Why are my coils burning out quickly?

Things that can affect the lifespan of a coil include (but aren't limited to) the flavour/strength of the e-liquid, the power output of the device your tank is attached to, how long your average puff is, how many puffs you take in a row, how well-maintained your tank is, and of course the type of coil you're using!

What are vape coils and why do I need to replace them?

Vape coils are the heating elements in your device that vaporise e-liquid. Over time, coils wear out due to residue build-up and heat exposure, which can affect flavour and vapour production. Replacing them regularly ensures optimal performance.

How do I know which coil is compatible with my vape?

Check your device or tank model and refer to the product description. We list all compatible devices and tanks for each coil to make selection simple. If unsure, contact our support team for help.

What’s the difference between mesh and standard coils?

Mesh coils use a fine metal mesh instead of a traditional wire. This allows for faster heating, better flavour, and longer lifespan. Standard coils are often cheaper but may not perform as efficiently.

What does coil resistance mean?

Resistance, measured in ohms (Ω), affects how your device performs.

  • Sub-ohm coils (below 1.0Ω) produce more vapour and work best with high-VG e-liquids.

  • Above-ohm coils (1.0Ω or higher) are ideal for MTL vaping and work well with higher-nicotine or nic salt e-liquids.

Can I use any coil with nicotine salts?

Nic salt e-liquids work best with higher-resistance coils (1.0Ω or more) at lower wattages. Using sub-ohm coils with nic salts may result in excessive nicotine delivery.

How do I prime a new coil?

Before using a new coil, apply a few drops of e-liquid directly onto the cotton openings, then fill the tank and let it sit for 5–10 minutes. This helps prevent dry hits and extends coil life.

Are all vape coils reusable?

No, vape coils are considered consumables. While you can clean some coils to extend their life slightly, they are designed to be replaced regularly for best results.

Do you sell genuine replacement coils?

Yes, all our coils are 100% authentic and sourced directly from trusted manufacturers or authorised distributors. We do not stock clones or third-party replicas.
