Doozy Chewz Nicotine Chewing Gum - An Honest Review and Guide

A totally new product hailing from the famous Doozy Vape Co. Doozy Chewz are a nicotine-infused chewing gum, which is something I personally have never tried before. We've been sent some review samples to take a look at and put to the test.

So let's find out, are Doozy Chewz worth it? Or are they just a novelty fad?

What are Doozy Chewz?

Doozy Chewz are flavoured, nicotine-infused chewing gums. Packed with 2mg of nicotine per piece, they deliver nicotine by absorption through the gums (similarly to nicotine pouches). Currently Doozy are offering 3 flavours of this product; Apple Ice, Cool Mint and Watermelon Ice.

The keen-eyed might notice the flavours are quite similar to popular disposable vape flavours you might be used to. I can only assume this was done as a means for vapers to better understand the flavours on offer.

What do Doozy Chewz taste like?

Doozy Chewz offer a rather tasty experience; I was really quite impressed with the flavours Doozy have crafted for these gums. I'll go over each flavour one-by-one to hopefully give you a better understanding of these flavours:

• Apple Ice - A subtly sweet red apple flavour that tastes more natural than usual “apple” flavourings with a minty kick.
• Cool Mint - Classic minty chewing gum flavour that you may already be used to. It offers a nice strong menthol hit that leaves your mouth feeling fresh.
• Watermelon Ice - The watermelon flavour lends a pleasantly sweet mouth-watering sensation without being overpowering, followed by a minty taste.

What do Doozy Chewz feel like?

They offer a great, long-lasting nicotine buzz. To achieve this I followed the steps provided on the packaging which are as follows:

• Bite Down: Chew the gum slowly until you feel a tingling sensation. This is the nicotine releasing.
• Park It: Place the gum in your cheek to allow the nicotine to absorb through your gums.
• Alternate Chewing: After a few minutes, resume chewing until the tingling returns, then park it again.
• Repeat: Continue alternating between chewing and parking for up to 30 minutes or until the gum has lost its flavour.

Using one piece, the nicotine hit was rather mellow to me, that being only 2mg of nicotine. Doozy recommend tuning your nicotine intake by simply adding more gum. I found my sweet spot to be 2 gums at a time equalling 4mg of nicotine, which gave me a satisfying nicotine buzz while not being totally overpowering.

How do Doozy Chewz compare to nicotine pouches?

Doozy Chewz offer a unique yet similar experience to using nicotine pouches. Similar in the way that nicotine is being absorbed in through your gums rather than inhaled, different in the way that it offers a more stimulating and pleasurable experience to nicotine pouches.

The key advantage that Doozy Chewz have over nicotine pouches is that they don't give the burning sensation that you expect from nic pouches or snus. The other key advantage is simple - it's a chewing gum! - which makes the whole experience far more intuitive and pleasurable compared to a burning pouch lodged into your upper lip.

Can I take Doozy Chewz on a plane?

Absolutely! (So long as they're in your carry-on bag). This is one of the key advantages that nicotine gums and pouches possess. They're perfect for nicotine cessation on the go. In places where vaping and smoking are forbidden i.e. a plane or other means of public transport, the Doozy Chewz quickly allow you to satisfy that nicotine craving.

Are Doozy Chewz good?

Overall, I have to say a resounding yes. These nicotine chewing gums are not something I thought I needed, but now I can't stop thinking about them!

They fill a niche that fits fantastically in the lifestyle of those looking for a discreet way to supplement their nicotine intake.

Doozy Chewz simplify and improve the method of oral nicotine intake compared to its alternatives, and revive a long-stale market for nicotine infused gum.

• I just wish there were more flavours on offer (I'm sure if they're successful then Doozy will be keen to offer more flavour options!)

So, would I recommend Doozy Chewz nicotine gum?

Wholeheartedly, yes. I have a lot of faith in this new product from Doozy and I hope it takes off in the same way that nicotine pouches have. Because in my opinion, they're just better in every way!
