Introduction

Here in the UK, we’ve seen a growing trend towards legal big puff disposables.
These vape kits have come as a direct response to the government’s crackdown on vape devices which don’t comply with TPD (Tobacco Products Directive) and thus aren’t legal to sell in the UK.

Kits such as the “Elux Legend 3500” bar came pre-filled with 10ml of nicotine salt liquid directly in the tank, 5 times over the UK 2ml legal limit.

Birthed out of this necessity for a longer-lasting disposable vape that complied with UK law, we’re now seeing the rise of legal big puff vapes.
Each has their own unique approach to navigate this 2ml restriction.

Some common designs we see are the “4-in-1” pod kit or the “2ml + 10ml” devices. The subject of this review - the Hayati Twist 5000+ - falls into the latter category.

But with an interesting twist...

Flavour List and Ratings at a glance

Brief Context

Hayati, a subsidiary of “PAX Innovations” – an established Chinese vape manufacturer – have certainly honed their craft when it comes to making quality disposables and e-liquid. So my expectations were high when it came to the new Hayati Twist disposable vape.

Set-up and First Impressions

Setting up this kit was a rather unique and fun experience, unlike similar kits I have tried.
Firstly you must remove all the packaging from the device, namely the 4 pieces of silicone around the main unit and tank.

Once this has been done you must slide the e-liquid tank over the main unit, making sure to position the two arrow symbols together.

Finally, twist the vape juice pod 45° clockwise towards the tick symbol on the device.

User Experience

The whole process felt satisfying and well-engineered, leaving me with a compact yet high-capacity kit that was now ready to use.
Featuring auto-draw, the Hayati Twist does not require you to press any buttons to start vaping. All you need to do is to start inhaling in order to release the vapour.

The vapour itself is quite thick and flavourful, much like their flagship “Hayati Pro Max” disposable. However, here they were able to achieve more robust cloud production thanks to the addition of a pure cobalt battery instead of a more common lithium battery.

In regards to the battery, it’s non-rechargeable unlike some “2ml + 10ml” kits, for example the Lost Mary BM6000 which features a Type-C port. However this doesn’t come as a downside since the 1600mAh capacity is enough to carry you through all of the included 20mg nicotine vape liquid.

Top 3 Flavours

After sampling each of the 25 flavours available for the Hayati Twist 5000, I’ve narrowed them down to what I believe are the top picks in this range.

This was no easy task mind you, since Hayati have yet again hit it out of the park with their delicious nicotine salt liquids all across the board.

Number 3 – Summer Dream:

Talk about rich flavour! Summer Dream comes in strong with its pronounced, juicy and tropical notes. Up front I got hit with a sweet blend of pineapple and mango, followed by a cool touch of menthol to balance it all out. Very, very enjoyable, and certainly an all-day-vape flavour for me.

Number 2 – Fizzy Cherry:

I have always adored Hayati’s cherry flavours, so it came as no surprise when this one ended up in my top picks. The cherry flavour here tasted organic, reminding me of fresh-picked cherries. This was followed by a playful hint of fizziness that made this a truly enchanting experience.

Number 1 – Lemon & Lime:

If you’re a loyal reader of my content here at UK Vape Scene, you’ll know I’m quite partial to a lemon & lime flavour. That being said, what sets this flavour apart from others I commonly enjoy is the careful balance of tanginess and sweetness that boosts the fruity flavours in a way that made it hard to put down. For me, the Hayati Twist Lemon & Lime is about as close to perfect as it gets.

Pros

  • Huge e-liquid capacity
  • High-quality nicotine salt liquid
  • Great battery life
  • Intuative and creative design

Cons

  • Not as discreet as some other disposables

Conclusion and Recommendation

If disposable vapes are your thing or you’re looking to explore your options, the Hayati Twist is certainly worth a try.

This 5000 puff vape is by far the best way to experience the quality flavours of Hayati Pro Max Nic Salts* without the need of a refillable vape.

Whether you are a beginner or an experienced vaper, the Hayati Twist 5000+ is definitely worth considering for your next vape purchase.

Thank you for reading, and happy vaping!
