First Impressions (Build and Design):

The Xros 4 Nano comes neatly packaged in the usual XROS series style, including everything you need to gets started (besides e-liquid). Namely: The device itself, 2x Corex 2.0 Pods, Type C charging cable and a handy bonus lanyard.

The device first stands out with its vibrant and bubbly design that lends itself to those who prefer a little flair to their vape kit. The colour choices don’t offer the widest variety that I have ever seen with only 8 colours to choose from, but each one brings something unique to the table, so you can take comfort in knowing there will be a design or colour scheme that is right for you.

Now the build quality is great, I really can’t fault Vaporesso here. Much like the rest of the XROS range the Nano 4 brings on that “iPhone-esque” feel that we all know and love from this brand. The power button and airflow switch also provide a satisfying user experience, and overall the kit feels great in the hand thanks to its sturdy build and rounded edges. Impressive!

User Experience:

Using this kit is very straightforward, but at the same time offers enough options for experienced vapers to tinker around with. This refillable pod kit is controlled by one button that does it all, through a series of clicks which are as follows:

  • One click to fire
  • Two clicks for the settings menu (lets you pick the theme, reset puff counter, and turn the animations on or off)
  • Three clicks for the power/mode settings
  • Four clicks to lock and unlock
  • Five clicks to turn the device on/off

These simple controls offer a quick and easy solution to controlling the device.

Moving onto the display, it provides a nice clear picture set onto a funky circular frame. It shows all the info you’ll need about the kit, including: Wattage, Puff Count, Battery Level and Lock Status. A fun feature that comes included with this kit’s display is the choice of three themes (Flower, Motorcycle and Universe) which add another dimension to customisability.

One feature I would have loved here is the ability to upload custom themes allowing users to add their favourite images to the screen (much like a smartphone lock screen) but sadly this wasn’t an option – fingers crossed for the Nano 5!

Performance:

To get going with this kit I loaded up the included 0.6 Ohm pod with my favourite Nerd Salts e-liquid, left it to soak for a few minutes, set the power output to “normal” and began vaping. As usual the COREX 2.0 coil inside the pod provided a smooth, thick vapour with no nasty spitting.

The flavour reproduction was superb, and I could pick out each flavour note quite distinctly. Overall the kit exemplifies how a premium pod kit should perform.

Pros:

  • Superb build quality
  • Responsive and vibrant screen
  • Great user experience
  • Hefty performance for such a compact kit

Cons:

  • No clear option for customisable themes
  • Maybe a little too small if you’ve got big hands

Conclusion:

In conclusion, the Vaporesso Xros 4 Nano delivers on its promises, proving to be a stellar addition to the XROS series. Its compact design, coupled with advanced features like the clear TFT display and extended battery life, make it a standout option for vapers who want a sleek, powerful pod kit.

While the lack of customisable themes may be a minor let-down for some, the overall performance, build quality, and user-friendly operation far outweigh this small drawback. If you're in the market for a dependable, high-performing, compact pod vape kit, the Xros 4 Nano is certainly worth considering. Vaporesso has once again raised the bar with this impressive little device!
